Our Humane Officers are truly some of our island's best helpers. They help animals who are sick or injured. They help reunite lost pets with their families. They can help animals who are in a dangerous situation find safety and kindness. While they never know what their day will bring, Kawehi, Tony, and Dida know that helping the pets of Kaua`i has to be done with compassion. As a non-profit organization, the staff at KHS have become masters of making do and providing creative solutions, but safety is just one area we cannot compromise on. Not for our animals and not for our people. That is why we need your help to raise funds for much needed safety equipment for our Humane Officers.
We are trying to reach our goal of $5,000 by July 31.

Your gift today will help us purchase additional microchip scanners, safety gloves, folding pet ramps, humane catching tools, rain weather gear, and more for our Humane Officers to not only be able to perform their jobs safely, but with compassion for all of the people and animals they come in contact with.
