Aloha KHS Family, April showers bring May flowers. Here at the Kaua`i Humane Society, we are preparing for the downpour of kitten season. Kitten season is the time of the year when we become saturated with newborn kittens. Last year KHS took in over 400 neonate kittens and this year we are preparing for similar numbers. Thanks to a Mighty Cat grant we were able to purchase supplies to help us save the most vulnerable animals in our care, but we are going to need your help to maintain our inventory and lifesaving efforts. Please tune into our virtual kitten shower and learn what kitten season means at KHS and how you can participate. We are also offering free spay and neuter clinics for cats to help curb future kitten seasons. Prepare yourself for toe beans, tiny tails, and lots of cuteness. |
