Dear friend, In just one week, on Tuesday May 5, people from around the globe will come together on a single day of giving, a single day to help organizations like the Kaua'i Humane Society keep serving our communities. We've put together this guide to help you navigate the different ways YOU can make a difference for our island's animals. The Kaua'i Humane Society is committed to remaining open and serving those who need us during this difficult time. And, while we cannot welcome people into the shelter like we used to, we still have lots of reasons to be grateful. We have over 100 animals in foster homes -- a record for our organization. We have expanded our Pet Food Bank to support families facing food insecurity, and we are offering temporary emergency pet boarding services to families impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
