Dear friend, Thank you to everyone who has given to our #GivingTuesdayNow campaign so far. We have incredible news! Because of your support, we have met our match goal of $15,000! We are on our way to saving 150 lives in 24 hours! But, there is STILL TIME TO DONATE! Still time to help KHS continue to save lives.
We can only help dogs like Layla with YOUR support. When Layla arrived at the shelter, she was dehydrated, hungry, covered in mud and fleas, and suffering from an infection. We found cuts hidden by caked-on mud and worked hard to get her on the road to recovery.
When Layla arrived at the shelter, she was dehydrated, hungry, covered in mud and fleas, and suffering from an infection. We found cuts hidden by caked-on mud and worked hard to get her on the road to recovery. After a few days of careful monitoring, Layla turned the corner, and started to run, jump, and roll in the grass. It was so cute we had to share on social media -- where her owners found her! She had gotten out when a pig tore down their fence, getting scrapped up along the way.
With your help, we can keep providing emergency medical care to injured dogs like Layla. With your help, we can keep reuniting lost pets with their owners. With your help, we can keep saving lives; keep saving kittens like Mallory and Mason. | | Lives like Mallory and Mason. Two kittens found at the local shopping center by a Good Samaritan that knew the Kaua`i Humane Society is their only hope. Their eyes were so swollen from infection, they needed our help, and fast! Our amazing vet staff was able to assess the situation, provide medication and then find a foster home who can give them the best care possible. The best news? They look MUCH better than their intake photos already!
